SAN FRANCISCO — United Airlines (UA) completed the first scheduled flight on its seasonal nonstop route from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to West Palm Beach on November 7, matching the launch date announced by the Florida airport in August.
Cirium’s FlightStats record for UA608 lists an actual departure of 08:05 Pacific Standard Time and arrival at 16:28 Eastern Standard Time. The scheduled arrival was 16:38, putting the flight ten minutes early.
The tracker identifies the aircraft as a Boeing 737-8 and marks the flight as arrived. It lists the Florida destination as President Donald J. Trump International Airport (DJT).
The airport’s August 7 announcement described the route as seasonal and Saturday-only. The new milestone is the completed eastbound operation, rather than a newly announced route.
For Bay Area travelers, the service provides a nonstop option to West Palm Beach. In the other direction, the airport said the route would offer access to San Francisco and connections throughout the western United States and Pacific Northwest through United’s hub.
A weekly schedule gives passengers fewer departure-day choices than daily service. Travelers whose plans do not align with Saturday flying will still need to consider connecting itineraries or other airports.
