DALLAS—Transavia (HV) has announced a special livery for its A321neo, which celebrates 60 years of operations. In the summer of 2025, HV will receive a brand new Airbus A321neo in retro house style as a tribute to its rich history.
This livery is inspired by the corporate identity designed by the Dutch designer Thijs Postma in 1966. He created the iconic green color and the big, black T on the fuselage and tail.
CEO Marcel de Nooijer said: "Celebrating our 60th anniversary is a moment to reflect on what we have achieved together. The arrival of a new Airbus in retro house style is our way of looking back with pride on what has brought us and where we are today. While at the same time looking forward to a quieter future thanks to our fleet renewal."
Transavia's A321neo
In December 2023, HV became the first member of the Air France-KLM group to take delivery of the A320neo family aicraft. A few days later, Transavia France (TO) took delivery of its first A320neo.
The fleet renovation process was completed with KLM (KL), receiving its first A321neo on August 27, 2024.
The new Airbus fleet allows the Dutch carriers to reduce their footprint and noise emissions in Amsterdam Schiphol, which is a key factor in ensuring operations out of the Dutch capital.
