PARIS — Just under two weeks ago, football fans witnessed one of the most exciting UEFA Champions League finals, as Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) faced off against Inter Milan. PSG’s victory was the cherry on top for Paris, which was already getting ready for the Paris Air Show.

Qatar Airways (QR) marked the occasion by unveiling a special UEFA Champions League livery on one of its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, registered A7-BED, which was flown to Le Bourget for static display at the air show.

The Airways team had the chance to step into the aircraft where, for once, the winning team and the Champions League trophy flew around the world.

Upon entering the aircraft through the L1 door, the beautiful QR decal welcomed us, leading us into the Business Class cabin, which features the renowned Q-Suites. This was the same aircraft on which QR showcased the Q-Suites for the first time back in 2017, at the Paris Air Show.

Business Class consists of 42 lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 configuration. With a seat pitch of 103 inches, a width of 21 inches, and a 21.5-inch entertainment screen, the Q-Suite offers a luxurious and comfortable experience. Each seat was equipped with pajamas featuring the F1 logo, in-flight slippers, and destination-themed pillows.

Moving past Business Class, we entered the Economy cabin, which features 312 seats. These offer a seat pitch of 31–32 inches and a width of 16.9–17.4 inches. Personally, the seats 19D, 25D and 37D offer some of the best economy seats with an ample leg space.

After touring the cabin, we headed to the flight deck, where the first officer welcomed us. Despite the aircraft being 11 years old, the flight deck looked pristine with the classic Boeing Yoke and thrust levers that control the aircraft’s powerful GE90 engines.

The Qatar Airways Boeing 777-300ER was one of only two Boeing commercial aircraft on display at the show, alongside the Riyadh Air Boeing 787-9. Additionally, Qatar Airways showcased its upcoming Q-Suite Next Gen, which will be featured on the new Boeing 777X aircraft.

Stay tuned for Airways' #PAS2025 coverage, bringing you the latest developments live from Paris this week.
