DALLAS — An interline agreement between Emirates (EK) and Air Peace (P4) has improved passenger connectivity between Dubai and Nigeria.
Passengers arriving in Lagos (LOS) with an EK ticket itinerary can seamlessly connect onward to 13 local destinations with a single ticket, fortifying commerce and tourist ties between the UAE and Nigeria.
Expanded Network Across Nigeria
Under the interline, passengers traveling into LOS can access 13 other destinations across Nigeria, such as Asaba (ABB), Akure (AKR), Benin City (BNI), Calabar (CBQ), Enugu (ENU), Ilorin (ILR), Kaduna (KAD), and Owerri (QOW).
The agreement also provides onboard access to Abuja (ABV), Kano (KAN), Uyo (QUO), Port Harcourt (PHC), and Warri (QRW), diversifying travel options across the country.
This expansion makes it easier to access economic centers in both countries. The cooperation ensures easier transfers with efficient baggage handling, lowering the complexity of traveling by consolidating local connections under one ticket itinerary.
The partnership will further strengthen EK's position as a regional primary international carrier.
Premium Travel Experience
Emirates operates the route from Dubai to Lagos (LOS) using its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, featuring the usual three classes. Passengers can enjoy the Ice in-flight entertainment system, with over 6,500 entertainment options. They can also enjoy premium beverages and multi-course meals.
Air Peace’s fleet includes Airbus A320s, Boeing 737s, Boeing 777s, Dornier 328-300s, Embraer 145s, and the latest Embraer 195-E2.
Under the agreement made under this interline pact, these aircraft are used for nonstop routes to cities around Nigeria and its regional territories.
Expanding African Connectivity
Through its robust network of partnerships, EK will be able to connect more than 223 regional destinations based on 19 interlines and five codeshares, further strengthening its position in Africa.
Emirates and P4 are optimistic that their latest interline agreement will facilitate travel bookings and increase productivity for Nigerian tourists. With this agreement, travel from Dubai (DXB) to Lagos (LOS) on a single-ticket itinerary, as passengers can connect easily to 13 more destinations in Nigeria.
This partnership promotes trade, business, and tourism between Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates and aligns with EK's broader strategy to expand access to key African markets.
Through this merger, EK and P4 have enhanced Nigeria's role as a gateway to regional connectivity and the world.
