DALLAS — Commencing March 30, 2025, British Airways (BA) will launch flights from its home base of London Heathrow Airport (LHR) to Tbilisi International Airport (TBS).
British Airways last flew the route until 2013, when it was suspended. The resumption of LHR—TBS allows passengers in Tbilisi to connect at London Heathrow and fly to eight additional UK airports or to the airline’s 26 US destinations.
The flag carrier’s Airbus A320neo fleet will operate this route four times a week. BA890 will depart LHR on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 21:25 and arrive in Tbilisi at 05:30 (local time).
On Wednesdays, the return flight, BA891, will leave TBS at 07:10 and arrive in London at 09:45. However, on Fridays, Sundays, and Mondays, BA891 will depart TBS at 07:30, aiming for a 10 o’clock arrival at LHR.
British Airways’ A320neos are in a two-class configuration, with up to 180 seats. Featuring a Club Europe (business class) cabin in a 1/1-1/1 with a blocked middle seat, Euro Traveller (economy class) is in the typical 3-3 arrangement.

Subjects A through C are presented in this first of three volumes. Covering topics such as the airlines of Alaska at the time of statehood and Canada's regional airlines of the 1960s, the individual histories of such carriers as Allegheny, American, Braniff, and Continental are also included in Volume One.
