DANIA BEACH — Florida-based Spirit Airlines (NK) today announced it will launch new service at Key West International Airport (EYW), the only nonstop flight between EYW and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), starting November 6, 2025.
The new service will operate four times per week, on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and will increase to daily flights starting December 18, 2025.

The US primary airlines serving Key West include:
- American Airlines (AA)
- Delta Air Lines (DL)
- United Airlines (UA)
- JetBlue Airways (B6)
- Silver Airways (3M)

- Breeze Airways (MX)
Some carriers might offer nonstop flights from specific cities, while others require layovers. For instance, AA offers nonstop flights from cities such as Miami (MIA), Charlotte (CLT), and New York (LGA).
United flies nonstop from cities such as Houston (IAH) and Newark (EWR). 3M specializes in regional flights within Florida, offering nonstop service from locations such as Fort Lauderdale and Orlando (MCO).
