Lufthansa Group to Hire Around 10,000 in 2025

DALLAS — The Lufthansa Group aims to recruit around 10,000 workers from different professions in 2025.

The group-wide recruitment plan comprises of more than "2,000 flight attendants, more than 1,400 ground staff for Ground Operations, and around 1,300 technical experts."

Additionally, the German airline group seeks the following:

  • 1,200 employees for administrative positions.
  • 800 Pilots.
  • Over 2,000 employees bound for Lufthansa Technik.
  • 1,400 employees divided up for Austrian Airlines (OS) and Eurowings (EW).
  • 1,200 for Lufthansa Airlines (LH) as part of its Turnaround efficiency program in 2025.

"More than half of all recruitment is to take place in Germany" the group states in its press release, adding that it "has brought more than 30,000 new colleagues on board" in the last three years.
