Delta to Introduce Nonstop Flights to Saudi Arabia

DALLAS – Delta Air Lines (DL) will launch nonstop flights between Atlanta (ATL) and Riyadh (RUH) next year. This is the airline’s foray into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Important New Service

Launching in October 2026, DL’s flights to RUH is a strategic step that strengthens ties between the U.S. and a region gaining influence in global markets.

“Launching service to Riyadh marks a key step in Delta’s global growth as we start our second century of flight,” said Ed Bastian, CEO of Delta Air Lines.

The route, one of Delta’s longest at over 7,000 miles, will connect travelers from Riyadh to the U.S. with access to over 150 cities, offering Saudi travelers a direct link to the United States.

“Our new flights will connect customers to this dynamic, fast-growing region while delivering the care, comfort, and reliability they expect. It reflects our bold vision to create meaningful opportunities and experiences in every corner of the world in the years ahead.” Bastian said.

Flight Schedule

The service will operate three times a week, using an Airbus A350-900. The aircraft offers four product experiences, including: Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort, and Delta Main.

Flying in Delta One, passengers will enjoy lie-flat seats, chef-curated meals, and exclusive amenities. Delta Premium Select offers wider seats with deeper recline and enhanced amenities for a more spacious, relaxing journey. At the same time, Delta Comfort offers extra legroom, earlier boarding, and dedicated overhead bin space.

Across all products, travelers benefit from curated dining and Delta Studio entertainment, and SkyMiles Members can enjoy fast, free Delta Sync Wi-Fi powered by T-Mobile.

We recall that a year ago, DL and Saudia Airlines (SV) celebrated the launch of a new codeshare agreement; the two airlines were already part of the SkyTeam alliance.
