Contour Airline Launching First Commercial Air Service in Ruidoso to Denver

‍SMYRNA — Contour Airlines (LF) has announced nonstop flights between Sierra Blanca Regional Airport (RUI) and Denver International Airport (DEN), becoming the first commercial operator in Ruidoso, New Mexico.

Starting June 25, 2026, Contour’s 30-seat regional jet will operate four weekly flights from DEN to RUI - on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

The carrier will depart Denver at 3:05 PM and land in Ruidoso at 4:45 PM. The return flight will depart RUI at 5:15 PM and arrive at DEN at 6:55 PM.

Historical connection for Ruidoso village

Launch of RUI-DEN flights is a transformative moment as Ruidoso officially joins the nation’s commercial air network for the very first time, bringing unprecedented convenience and improved connectivity for local residents, visitors, and businesses.

With nonstop flights to Denver, one of the US’s largest aviation hubs, Ruidoso gains seamless and valuable connectivity to a number of destinations across the United States and beyond. 

At the same time, nonstop flights are making the village more accessible for travelers. Visitors have access to various renowned outdoor activities, including ski slopes, horse racing, and vibrant arts and culture.
