British Airways Resumes Daily Abu Dhabi Flight

DALLAS – British Airways (BA) has reintroduced flights between London (LHR) and Abu Dhabi (AUH) after a four-year pause.

The British flag carrier has recommenced non-stop scheduled flights between the two countries, with the first flight arriving at Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport (AUH) on April 21. 

British Airways will operate daily services from LHR to AUH all year around, using a Boeing 787-9. The reintroduced route adds to the airline’s extensive global network and strengthens connections between the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.

The new daily flight connects Abu Dhabi with London Heathrow and beyond, providing our customers with another amazing destination within our expansive global network and further growing our connections with the UAE,” said Calum Laming, Chief Customer Officer at British Airways.  

The resumed services between the two countries will benefit passengers who travel for leisure, business or to visit relatives and friends.

Abu Dhabi Flight Schedule

For the summer, BA operates flight BA73, departing LHR at 22.25 (local time), and arriving in AUH at 08.30 the following day. The inbound flight  BA72, departs AUH at 10.10 (local time), arriving at LHR at 15.20 the same day.

In the winter, the airline will operate flight BA73, departing LHR at 22.25 (local time), and arriving in AUH at 09.30 the following day. Whereas, the inbound flight, BA72, departs AUH at 11.10 (local time), arriving LHR at 15.20 the same day.
