DALLAS — Azorra has delivered an Airbus A220-300 aircraft to Romania’s AnimaWings (A2), a charter airline that is part of the Aegean Airlines Group.

The Bucharest-based (OTP) airline will deliver an additional three A220-300s in the coming months. The delivery of this aircraft to A2 is quite significant for Romania since it marks the first time an Airbus A220 will operate from Romania.

“We are proud to deliver the first new Airbus A220-300 to our friends at AnimaWings, which was made possible through our strong relationship with Airbus. This marks a significant milestone as the first of its type in Romania. With its unmatched performance and efficiency, this aircraft is perfectly suited to support AnimaWings' growth objectives and will play a vital role in the future of aviation in Romania.” said John Evans, CEO and Founder Azorra.

With its unparalleled efficiency and superior passenger comfort, this advanced aircraft enables us to commit to delivering connectivity to sought-after destinations such as Dubai (DXB), Cluj (CLJ), Iasi (IAS), Oradea (OMR), Paris (PAR), Larnaca (LCA) or Stockholm (STO).” Marius Pandel, Co-Owner, A2, said.
