Volaris to Launch Denver–Querétaro Flights This Summer

DENVER — In a Feb. 3 announcement, Denver International Airport (DEN) said the carrier will begin twice-weekly, year-round nonstop service from DEN to Querétaro Intercontinental Airport (QRO) on June 3, 2026, giving travelers a new way into central Mexico.

Phil Washington said each new route expands opportunities for commercial and cultural exchange, while Enrique Beltranena framed the launch as part of the airline’s push to grow low-fare connectivity between the U.S. and Mexico.

The airport also cited rising local demand for the market in 2025 and the route’s potential to strengthen economic ties between the two regions.

The new route builds on Denver’s fast-growing international footprint: DEN has reported nonstop service to 35 international destinations across 19 countries, and Mexico is its largest international market.

Volaris is already marketing DEN–QRO booking options on its website.
