DELHI — Taiwan-based luxury carrier STARLUX Airlines (JX) announced a strategic codeshare agreement with Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways (EY) at the 2025 IATA AGM in New Delhi, India.
STARLUX customers will be able to book codeshare flights with EY via JX’s website and sales channels, connecting Taipei to Europe through Abu Dhabi.
Additionally, passengers can schedule itineraries that depart from any JX beginning point and connect to codeshare flights operated by EY to Abu Dhabi, with subsequent service to European locations such as Prague, Madrid, and Barcelona.

Middle East, Asia-Pacific Networks
Passengers on EY will also benefit from expedited access to JX's Asia-Pacific network, which offers easy connections and will further expand via Taipei to key Japanese destinations, including Nagoya, Sapporo, and Fukuoka.
As with most codeshares, the agreement streamlines travel by allowing guests to make a single booking with a single check-in process at the departure airport, along with the added convenience of automatic baggage transfer to their final destination.
