TORONTO — Porter Airlines (PD) has begun round-trip service today between Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport (PVR), in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Starting on December 14, seasonal service to Puerto Vallarta will increase from three weekly round-trip flights to five weekly flights. In December, nonstop flights to Puerto Vallarta will begin operating from Hamilton and Ottawa, increasing travelers' options for sun destinations. The Embraer E195-E2 is used to perform flights.
There are no middle seats for any passenger on the 132-seat aircraft due to its two-by-two seating arrangement. Porter's upgraded economy experience includes free, quick WiFi, free beer and wine supplied in glasses, and high-quality Canadian munchies for all passengers.
With all the benefits offered by PorterReserve tickets, like priority check-in, additional legroom, premium pre-mixed beverages, and fresh, nutritious meals, travelers may select the experience that best suits their needs. When making a PorterClassic reservation, individual benefits can also be added à la carte.
Porter offers a wide range of winter schedule flights to Mexico, the Caribbean, Costa Rica, Florida, Arizona, and California, including this first route. The network offers even more options for locations, travel times, and flexible reservations when combined with flights from joint venture partner Air Transat. VIPorter members can redeem points for sun market travel on Porter and Air Transat, starting at 10,000 points one way.
