DALLAS — Oman Air (WY) has announced a strategic partnership with TUI Group, one of the world's leading tourism organizations, to launch an integrated digital platform for booking complete holiday packages.
The collaboration, revealed during ITB Berlin, aims to enhance the travel experience by allowing customers to book flights, accommodations, and additional services through a single seamless interface.
Set to debut for the upcoming summer season, the new platform will enable travelers to create comprehensive holiday packages to more than 22 destinations across Oman, Europe, the Far East, GCC, Africa, and beyond. The service will combine WY flights with hotels, car rentals, ground transportation, tours, and experiences, available as either dynamic packages or standalone bookings.

Comments from Partner Officials
Michael Rutter, Chief Commercial Officer at Oman Air, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting its potential to provide convenience, quality, and affordability to customers seeking complete package holidays.
He emphasized that the initiative would not only enhance travel experiences for passengers departing from Oman but also simplify inbound tourism, encouraging more international visitors to explore the country. Rutter noted that this development represents a significant milestone in WY's ongoing digitalization efforts.
David Schelp, CEO of TUI Markets + Airline, echoed this enthusiasm, stating that the collaboration would offer travelers unique opportunities to experience Oman and other global destinations while enjoying Oman Air's exceptional service standards.
Founded in 1993, WY has evolved from serving domestic routes to becoming a major international carrier connecting global cities to Oman. The airline has played a crucial role in establishing Muscat as a desirable Middle Eastern travel destination while supporting related commercial and tourism activities.
TUI Group, headquartered in Germany, is a global tourism leader with integrated services spanning the entire tourism value chain. The company owns over 400 hotels and resorts under premium brands like RIU and TUI Blue, along with 17 cruise ships.
