BOSTON — JetBlue (B6) has introduced daily seasonal service between Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN), adding a new transatlantic destination from a key focus city. The route began on April 16 and will operate through October 25.
JetBlue stated the new service targets leisure, business, and academic travelers between New England and Catalonia. Barcelona is B6’s second Spanish destination after Madrid (MAD) and its seventh in Europe. The airline also plans to launch seasonal service between Boston and Milan Malpensa (MXP) on May 11.
Route schedule
JetBlue expects to operate up to nine daily nonstop flights between Boston and Europe this summer as part of its transatlantic expansion. The airline currently offers more than 130 daily departures to over 65 destinations from Boston.
The Boston–Barcelona service operates daily as flight B6 345, departing BOS at 8:04 p.m. and arriving in BCN at 9:45 a.m. the following day. The return, flight B6 346, departs BCN at 12:50 p.m. and arrives in Boston at 3:38 p.m. local time.
