GOL Linhas Aereas Announces 1Q25 Earnings Results

DALLAS — GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes (G3), a leading domestic low-cost carrier in Brazil headquartered in Rio de Janeiro, has announced its first quarter report of 2025 (1Q25). 

In the first quarter of 2025, G3 reported a +19.4% year-over-year increase in Passenger Business’ Net Revenue, driven by a +6.6% increase in RASK (Revenue Available Seat Per Kilometer). 

It has also increased its ASK(Available Seat Per Kilometer) by +12 %, almost 50% more international capacity than in 1Q24. The airline's on-time performance (OTP) also remained consistent in these months, bringing the G3 airline's score to 89.4% with an increase of +6.5 p.p. 

This put the airline on the list of the most punctual airlines in Brazil. Moreover, G3 added two new Boeing 737-8 aircraft to its fleet (totaling 54 units), which enhances its operational efficiency by supporting ongoing expansion.

Loyalty, Cargo Business Performance

GOL's smile loyalty program continues its growth trajectory:

  • Miles redeemed grew by 17%
  • Revenue obtained from smiles increased by 12.4%.
  • Clube Simile subscription grew by 6.9%.
  • GOLLOG’s revenue increases by 17.0%.
  • The transported weight rose by 6.8%.

Key Points of 1Q25 Metrics

In the first quarter of 2025 (1Q25), G3 reported strong operational and financial performance across various key metrics:

  • Total Net Revenue reached R$5.6 billion, representing a 19.4% increase year-over-year.
  • Passenger Revenue rose by 18.0%.
  • Capacity (ASK) grew by 12.0%.
  • International Capacity expanded by approximately 50%.
  • RASK (Revenue per Available Seat Kilometer) increased by 6.6%.
  • On-Time Performance (OTP) improved to 89.4%, a gain of 6.5 percentage points.
  • Fleet Size, specifically MAX-8 aircraft, totaled 54 units, adding 2 new units.
  • Smiles Revenue grew by 12.4%.
  • Smiles Miles Redeemed went up by 17.9%.
  • Clube Smiles Subscribers reached approximately 1.2 million, a 6.9% increase.
  • GOLLOG Revenue increased by 17.0%.
  • GOLLOG Transported Weight rose by 6.8%.
