DUBAI — flydubai (FZ), based at DXB, has inked a series of agreements with Boeing to introduce wide-ranging CBTA programs for ab initio pilots, flight crews undergoing type rating, and engineering teams.
The deal, announced during the 2025 Dubai Airshow, incorporates data-driven scenarios and performance-focused training conceived to enhance operational safety and efficiency across the airline's fleet.
The deal also aligns with FZ's growing training ecosystem, which already comprises its brand-new Flight Training facility and ab initio program. For an airline operating a fleet of 96 Boeing 737s with more than 1,400 pilots and 640 engineers, the new CBTA modules will offer tailored, competency-validated instruction for both cockpit and maintenance personnel.
Additionally, Boeing will provide consulting support during implementation, further reinforcing FZ's long-term commitment to advanced training technologies and continuous professional development across the organization.
