DUBAI — Emirates (EK) will launch its new flagship Airbus A350-900 for the first time to Orlando, Florida (MCO) on November 1, 2026.
The A350 will replace the Boeing 777-300ER that recently took over on the route for the 777-200LR, the flight will depart Dubai as EK219 at 0305 and arrive in Orlando 1020. On the return leg the flight will depart from Orlando as EK220 at 2020 arriving in Dubai the next evening at 1910 (All times local).
The Emirates A350 features the airline's latest cabin interiors, technology and innovations in a three-class configuration. Up front features 32 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, 28 Premium Economy Class seats in a 2-3-2 configuration and 238 Economy Class seats in a 3-3-3 configuration. The Dubai based carrier chose Orlando to reinforce its commitment to flying to Central Florida.
“We are extremely delighted to roll out elevated experiences for our customers in the US. Customers travelling on this important route will now be able to fly to Dubai while enjoying the latest in-flight experiences and superior levels of comfort in all three cabin classes, including Premium Economy, which is available on a growing list of routes in our network,” said Matthew Jones, Emirates VP for the United States.
With the Orlando roll out marking the Emirates A350 debut in the US, is the carrier's next step in the Premium Economy rollout which has a growing demand among American Travelers looking for an elevated experience. Premium Economy is available to travelers who are going beyond Dubai as it is offered on flights to West Asia, Indian Ocean Islands and Australia.
The new Emirates Premium Economy is designed to give passengers additional space, comfort and an elevated inflight experience with each seat offering a 19.5-inch seat offers lots of legroom and recline with a six-way adjustable headrest and 13.3-inch entertainment screen.
An enhanced dining experience is also offered in Premium Economy with a welcome drink being served in fine glassware along with meals prepared with seasonal ingredients while being served on Royal Doulton china along with an extended beverage selection. As for the amenities, customers will be provided with sustainable amenity kits, blankets and generously sized pillows designed exclusively for the Emirates Premium Class. Additional benefits also include priority boarding along with a dedicated check-in area at Dubai International Airport.
