Emirates’ New First Class Check-In at Dubai International

DUBAI — Emirates (EK) has officially unveiled its newly enhanced check-in area, “Emirates First,” for First Class and Skywards Platinum members at Dubai International Airport (DXB) Terminal 3. The upgraded facility features an elegant private seating area and offers a seamless, exclusive check-in experience tailored to premium travelers.

“We invest heavily in upgrading our ground products, and Emirates First is one of the areas that will offer a unique and private environment to our First Class customers and Skywards Platinum members. We know our customers value privacy and convenience, and this will provide another level of hospitality to the check-in experience, as part of our efforts to continuously uplift the overall travel journey,” said Adel Al Redha, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Operating Officer, in a statement.

What Emirates First Offers

Emirates First delivers a sleek, streamlined experience where check-in formalities can be completed on iPads while guests remain comfortably seated. Families can relax in the lounge-style seating area while a single member is assisted with check-in for the entire group. For those who prefer a traditional experience, dedicated counters are available for check-in and baggage drop. The marble and brass desks offer a visually striking design, and bags are loaded onto dedicated First Class baggage belts.

After check-in, travelers proceed through Security and Immigration and then go to one of the three dedicated Emirates First Class Lounges in Terminal 3. There, guests enjoy:

  • Chef-crafted à la carte meals
  • Premium wines, spirits, and Champagne
  • Complimentary spa treatments
  • Business centers and kids’ play areas
  • Concierge duty-free shopping

Globally, Emirates First Class customers enjoy a fully curated journey with complimentary access to 43 Emirates Lounges worldwide and chauffeur-driven service for seamless door-to-door transfers in most destinations.

Largest First Class Operator

Emirates is currently the world’s largest First Class operator, offering approximately 26,800 First Class seats each week. With the most extensive inventory of international First Class seats in the industry, the airline's premium-heavy strategy underscores the significance of the newly unveiled Emirates First check-in area.

This enhanced ground experience reflects Emirates’ continued focus on delivering luxury and exclusivity throughout the entire travel journey.
