LONDON — Targeting both transatlantic growth and stronger regional connectivity, British Airways (BA) is expanding its network from London Heathrow Airport (LHR) with new services to St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) and Guernsey Airport (GCI).
As part of its North American growth plan, BA will add St. Louis as its 27th destination in the United States. The carrier will operate four weekly Boeing 787 flights, tapping into both local demand and onward connections through Heathrow. The new route strengthens the airline’s U.S. network while giving travelers in Missouri direct access to London and a wider range of destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
Strengthening regional access
British Airways is also launching a new daily service to Guernsey, creating the only nonstop link between the Channel Island and Heathrow. The route is designed to improve access to BA’s global network, offering Guernsey passengers more convenient one-stop connections to long-haul destinations while reinforcing Heathrow’s role as the airline’s main international hub.
The additions come as British Airways continues to fine-tune its network with a mix of long-haul and short-haul opportunities. Seasonal flights to Tivat Airport (TIV) in Montenegro, due to begin in May, will further broaden the carrier’s summer offering and reflect continued demand for leisure-focused destinations.
