Breeze Launching Nonstop Service Between Richmond And Cancun

‍RICHMOND — Breeze Airways (MX) has announced the launch of nonstop flights between Richmond, US, and Cancún, Mexico.

Starting from January 8, 2027, MX will be connecting Richmond International Airport (RIC) to a sunny Mexican resort with two weekly flights, on Mondays and Fridays.

For the first time in more than a decade, Richmond-area travelers will enjoy direct access to one of Mexico’s most in-demand destinations, connecting our region with the Yucatán Peninsula’s vibrant culture, world-renowned beaches, and rich history,” commented Perry J. Decade-awaited nonstop service

After more than a decade, Richmond travelers will be able to catch a quick flight to Cancún and enjoy gorgeous white-sand beaches, vibrant culture and nightlife, and a variety of experiences for everyone.

“Richmond hasn't had nonstop flights to Cancún for more than a decade, so we know our Guests will love this new service launching in January. The convenience of a destination like this, being able to travel right from your hometown airport without having to connect, is significant, and gives travelers more time to enjoy their vacations,” said David Neeleman, founder and CEO of Breeze Airways.

To celebrate the new connection, Breeze, which is celebrating five years of flying at RIC this July, is offering low introductory fares for a limited time.
