Avelo Opens Wilmington Base with New Routes

DALLAS — Avelo Airlines (XP) has expanded its operations by establishing its eighth base at Wilmington International Airport (ILM) in coastal North Carolina. Alongside this development, the airline has introduced seven brand new nonstop routes and added a new airport to its growing network.

To add to this, Avelo (XP)  has announced the launch of operations from Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) with nonstop flights to Tweed New Haven Airport (HVN). Service on this route is scheduled to begin in May 2025.

Avelo will operate these routes using its American-made Boeing 737 NG aircraft, reinforcing its commitment to offering affordable convenience and reliable air service since its inception in 2021. XP has been dedicated to expanding its reach and enhancing travel accessibility for passengers.
