Arajet Launches Orlando-Punta Cana Nonstop Service

DALLAS Arajet (DM), the low-fare Dominican airline, announced today its continued U.S. expansion with the launch of new nonstop service between Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) and Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ). The new route increases DM’s presence in Florida, a key region for Caribbean-bound tourism and Latin and Dominican communities.

Flights begin on October 26 with special introductory fares available now at arajet.com using the promo code #HOLAORLANDO.

Airline Comments

“Launching service in Orlando marks another important milestone for Arajet as we continue our rapid growth across the United States,” said Víctor Pacheco Méndez, CEO and founder of Arajet.

“Florida is a cornerstone of our expansion strategy, and Orlando is the perfect place to strengthen our U.S. footprint as one of the most visited cities in the world and home to a vibrant Dominican and Latin community. After seeing record-breaking sales and sold-out flights in Miami, expanding to Orlando is a natural next step as we grow our U.S. network and fulfill our mission of making Caribbean travel more accessible.”

Continued Growth

Since launching its U.S. operations with the inaugural Miami route, DM has continued to grow in the American market. On June 4, the airline will expand its Miami service with a new direct route between Miami International Airport (MIA) and PUJ. These flights give travelers the option to fly nonstop to either Punta Cana or Santo Domingo.

The direct service from SFB will offer travel from a convenient and less congested airport. The three weekly flights (Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday) will provide nonstop access to one of the Caribbean’s top destinations, with connections to DM’s growing network of more than 13 destinations across the Caribbean and Latin America, including Colombia, Jamaica, and Costa Rica.

Open Skies

Arajet’s growth is fueled, in part, by the Open Skies agreement between the United States and the Dominican Republic, which has enabled the airline to scale operations quickly and deliver competitive fares to a broader and more diverse group of travelers.

Orlando now becomes the airline’s sixth U.S. destination since its debut in February 2025, joining Boston, Chicago, Miami, New York, and San Juan.

After beginning operations in 2022, DM operates two bases, in Las Americas Airport (SDQ) in Santo Domingo and PUJ, with a new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft fleet.
