DALLAS — American Airlines (AA) is already kicking off centennial events to mark its 100th anniversary in 2026. Passengers will notice memorable branding throughout their journeys as AA marks its transformation into one of the world's largest airlines.
Special Livery & Onboard Touchpoints
Later in the month, AA will roll out a Boeing 737 aircraft in a special centennial paint scheme. The theme of the scheme features silver infinity loops around the aircraft's tail to symbolize continuity and the promise of future success. A logo for the centennial celebration will be used on digital media, in-flight entertainment systems, airport touch points, and on stickers on over 1,500 aircraft.

Year-long Customer Experience
In 2026, passengers can expect limited-edition experiences on board. The airline has also launched a microsite that provides information on its history and achievements, which have made a mark on the world of commercial aviation.
