DALLAS — Allegiant Travel Company has unveiled the largest expansion in its history, introducing 44 new nonstop routes and adding three new cities to its network: Gulf Shores, Alabama; Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Columbia, South Carolina.
These additions extend Allegiant’s (G4) service to 51 cities, reflecting its mission to offer affordable and convenient travel options to premier vacation destinations across the United States.
The new routes, launching in February 2025, see G4 catering to underserved communities, connecting them with popular leisure destinations. The airline’s approach focuses on providing ultra-low-cost airfare and nonstop service tailored to peak leisure periods, including holidays and school breaks.
Key New Routes, Cities
- Gulf Shores International Airport (GUF) will see connections to cities like Knoxville, Houston, and Kansas City.
- Colorado Springs Airport (COS) will gain routes from Phoenix/Mesa, Santa Ana, and St. Pete/Tampa.
- Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE) will be linked to Daytona Beach and Fort Lauderdale.
Other expansions include new connections to major destinations such as Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ), Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR), and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), among others.
Drew Wells, G4's chief commercial officer, emphasized the airline’s dedication to meeting customer demand while making travel more accessible. “These new routes simplify travel for customers seeking to connect with family, explore new destinations, and enjoy affordable leisure experiences,” he stated.
