DALLAS — For the first time this summer, Alaska Airlines (AS) is connecting Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) to Detroit and Sacramento with seasonal nonstop flights.
The schedule looks as follows:
- ANC to Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW): Weekly, roundtrip flights begin June 14, 2025.
- ANC to Sacramento International Airport (SMF): Weekly, roundtrip flights begin June 14, 2025.
The carrier is also resuming nonstop service between Fairbanks and Portland with a daily nonstop flights starting May 15, 2025.
With these two new summer routes, AS is poised to offer the most nonstop destinations ever from ANC this summer, with 15 nonstop routes to the Lower 48 and Hawaii.
These nonstop destinations include: Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Honolulu, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, New York JFK, Phoenix, Portland, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle.
