airBaltic Launches Vilnius–Prague Summer Route

VILNIUS — Latvian carrier airBaltic (BT) has inaugurated nonstop flights between Vilnius, Lithuania, and Prague, Czech Republic.

The new route, operating twice weekly on Thursdays and Saturdays until September 27, restores a long-unserved connection between the two capitals, significantly enhancing travelers' convenience.

“Vilnius has been one of our key bases for over 20 years,” said Mantas Vrubliauskas, VP Network Management at airBaltic. “This route will benefit leisure and business passengers alike while contributing to regional tourism and economic growth.”

AirBaltic operates the nearly two-hour flights using its Airbus A220-300 aircraft, which features both Economy and Business Class. Business Class passengers enjoy premium seating, curated meals, and complimentary Starlink Wi-Fi—a first in Europe.

This marks BT’s second route to the Czech Republic, complementing its Riga–Prague service. The airline now flies 16 direct routes from Vilnius this summer.
