Air Transat Adds Three Winter Season Departure Points

‍MONTREAL — Air Transat (TS) enhances its winter program by adding three new “departure points” in Canada. Starting in winter 2025-2026, you can fly out of Windsor (YQG) to Punta Cana (PUJ) weekly, and from Charlottetown (YYG) and Fredericton (YFC) to Cancún (CUN).

Friday departures from Windsor to Punta Cana will begin on December 19, 2025, and continue through April 10, 2026. Flights from Charlottetown and Fredericton to Cancún will commence on February 18, 2026, and run every Wednesday until April 22, 2026.

• Toronto: Increased frequencies to Cancun, Punta Cana, and San Jose, Costa Rica.
• Montreal & Quebec City: Broad access to Caribbean, Mexico, and new routes such as Montreal–Guadalajara (from December 2025).
• Halifax: Additional flights to Puerto Plata; continued service to Cancun, Cayo Coco, Holguín, Montego Bay, Punta Cana, Santa Clara, and Varadero.
• Moncton: Direct flights to Cancun, Punta Cana, and Varadero.

• Montreal–Guadalajara: Twice-weekly non-stop flights starting December 2025, offering a new way to experience Mexico.
• Charlottetown–Cancun: Direct flights from Prince Edward Island to Cancun will begin in February 2026, running every Wednesday through April.
