DALLAS — Air France (AF) announces the new La Première suite, which offers upgraded luxury, privacy, and comfort for long-haul flights.

Flights to New York-JFK, Los Angeles, Singapore, and Tokyo-Haneda will launch in spring 2025. The new first-class cabin will first appear on select Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

An Exclusive, Fully Customizable Private Suite

The design of the new La Première suite,  a fully-fledged three-year development, embodies French craftsmanship at its most elegant. Each aircraft will include four private suites, each nearly 3.5 square meters, a 25% increase in space over the previous configuration.

One of the standout features of the new-look suite is its completely adjustable seating configuration, featuring a comfortable ergonomic seat and a chaise longue.

By quickly reconfiguring the environment, every element of a passenger’s space can be adapted for each phase of flight, from takeoff to dinner to relaxation and sleep. The chaise longue folds out to form a bed measuring two meters by 75 centimeters wide to ensure maximum comfort for sleeping on long-haul flights.

A unique AF offering, the side suites feature five windows, bathing the cabin in natural light, a first for the airline. An electric sliding partition activates with a button, allowing passengers sitting in the center suites to enjoy shared travel experiences while keeping their distance.

Premium Materials, Elegant Design

The new La Première cabin materials include leather, wool, and fabrics, which are custom-designed and hand-selected. The cabin’s color palette, prevailing shades of gray with red accents, is inspired by Parisian haute couture.

Air France decided to eliminate the overhead compartments and instead have double-deck floor-level compartments capable of carrying two carry-on suitcases. There are more drawers beneath the chaise longue for footwear and personal items, and a backlit personal compartment with a mirror is located just above the seat to make it convenient to use.

Regarding lighting, passengers can see the mood in each suite with electric blackout and translucent window shades. The signature Air France winged seahorse logo is embossed on wall-mounted and free-standing lamps, enhancing the refined look.

State-of-the-Art Entertainment, Connectivity

Each suite has two 32-inch ultra-high-definition 4K screens, giving passengers access to more than 1,500 hours of entertainment. AF supplies noise-canceling headphones; passengers can pair their Bluetooth devices for a continuous audio experience.

Technological improvements include:

  • 110V/220V power plugs
  • USB-A and USB-C charging/ports
  • Mobile charging stations
  • Smartphone and tablet holders built into the desk
  • Advanced inflight Wi-Fi with high-speed connectivity,  and soon, powered by Starlink technology

The suite features all functions, including seat inclination, lighting, or window shades, controlled through a wireless touchscreen tablet for an intuitive, simple experience.

Gourmet Dining with Michelin-Starred Chefs

Air France has stepped up its La Première gastronomic offering, working with Michelin-starred chefs Emmanuel Renaut, Arnaud Lallement, and Anne-Sophie Pic to craft rotating seasonal menus. Dishes include Sturia caviar, foie gras, and gourmet seafood, with an exclusive pick of fine wine and champagne selected by AF’s head sommelier, Xavier Thuizat.

For a tailor-made touch, world-famous mixologist Matthias Giroud has created a series of exclusive cocktails, guaranteeing an elevated beverage experience from the first flight to the final landing.

A New Benchmark in First-Class Travel

The AF La Première experience begins long before you step on board. The airport experience at Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) includes an ultra-premium ground service, launched in 2024, that includes:

  • Private checking-in zones
  • Concierge service customized to your needs
  • Security clearance lanes dedicated
  • An exclusive La Première lounge access to full-service dining, spa treatment, and other luxury facilities

Air France offers La Première on these routes: Abidjan, Dubai, Los Angeles, Miami, New York-JFK, San Francisco, São Paulo,  Singapore, Tokyo-Haneda, and Washington DC.
