DALLAS — Air France (AF) is expanding its long-haul network with a new route to Kilimanjaro, Tanzania (JRO). Starting on November 18, 2024, AF will operate thrice weekly flights from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
This new route will operate as an extension of AF’s existing service to Zanzibar (ZNZ), Tanzania.
The French flag carrier will deploy an Airbus A350-900 aircraft on this route, offering a comfortable journey with a choice of three cabin classes. AF’s A350 is equipped with 34 seats in business class, 24 in premium economy, and 266 in economy class.
Replacing Paris-Zanzibar-Dar es Salaam Route
The new CDG-ZNZ-JRO route will replace AF’s current service from CDG to Dar es Salaam (DAR) via ZNZ.
Travelers seeking to reach Dar es Salaam, the capital of Tanzania, can still connect through Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KL), AF’s sister airline. The Dutch carrier operates regular flights to DAR, with connections available from JRO and ZNZ.
