SAS Introduces New Stockholm-Iceland Route

DALLAS — SAS (SK) has announced new seasonal flights connecting Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) and Keflavik (KEF) in Iceland during the summer of 2025.

This addition to existing year-round SK routes from Copenhagen and Oslo will positively impact Iceland’s tourism industry, bringing its natural beauty closer to international visitors.

SAS has designed the flight schedule to ensure excellent connectivity between Iceland and the Scandinavian and Baltic countries. The introduction of overnight summer flights from Arlanda (ARN) from June 22, 2025, to August 11, 2025, will further enhance their appeal.

Traveling to Iceland has become increasingly popular, and these new flights will provide passengers with more opportunities to explore the country's landscapes and tourist attractions. This convenience will particularly appeal to those interested in Reykjavik’s nightlife and cultural scene.

Comment from SAS Management

“We are pleased that our passengers will be able to take full advantage of the extended daylight hours, allowing them to experience everything Iceland offers—whether traveling for business or leisure. Additionally, our flight schedule enables passengers to sleep during their journey from Iceland, with the added benefit of saving on hotel costs,” says Henrik Vinel, SAS Vice President of Network.
