MILAN — This week, ITA Airways (AZ) rolled out a Milano Cortina 2026 special scheme on an Airbus A320-200 (EI-DSY), positioning the aircraft as a flying ambassador for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games as it returns to normal short- and medium-haul service.
Beyond the paint, AZ is threading the Games into the passenger experience, including themed lounge activations at Rome Fiumicino (FCO) and Milan Linate (LIN) and dedicated Business Class menus tied to Milano Cortina 2026 on selected shorter international sectors.

SKYWAY Installation
On the ground, the carrier has opened “SKYWAY” in Piazza San Carlo, Milan, a temporary, two-pavilion installation designed to drive public engagement and visibility in the run-up to the Games, running until March 15, 2026.
From a fleet standpoint, this is a single-aircraft special livery rather than a wider repainting program, meaning the branding travels broadly, without taking multiple frames out of rotation.
ITA’s play here is smart “everyday reach” marketing—one aircraft, always in schedule, plus high-footfall Milan activation—turning sponsor rights into repeated impressions (and premium upsell moments) without big operational friction.
