MIAMI – The Quebec City-based charter operator, Chrono Aviation Inc. (NDL, callsign NEEDLE), painted one of its Beechcraft 1900Ds (C-FKNO •MSN UE-150), with special CANADA 150 sesquicentennial markings for 2017.
It also wears a special Bagotville International Air Show / Spectacle Aérien International de Bagotville (SAIB) markings, where it was statically displayed at Quebec in June. The aircraft could be seen at Toronto Lester B. Pearson International Airport, (YYZ/CYYZ).
C-FKNO was previously painted in a special Star Wars style livery reminiscent of an Imperial Stormtrooper. The aircraft was popular at air shows with young science fiction fans.
Chrono Aviation Inc. currently operates seven Pilatus PC12s, two Beechcraft 1900Ds, a deHavilland Canada dash-8-100 and a Dassault Falcon 50EX.
Chrono operates charter flights from Quebec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB/CYQB). It has facilities at Montreal Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (CYUL), Montreal St. Hubert Airport (CYHU), and Rimouski Airport (CYXK).
The Beech 1900s can be configured to carry several different combi configurations including 19 passengers and 1200 lbs of cargo, 15 passengers and 2000 lbs of cargo or 13 passengers and 2400 lbs of cargo, or a full cargo configuration of up to 4100 lbs.
The PC-12s can be configured for 6 passenger executive, 9 passengers only, up to 6 passenger combi, or full cargo (2400 lbs).
