This month’s cover choice was a hard one. Alitalia recently unveiled its new livery, and so the possibility of catching an airliner in the usual stunning conditions our cover photos are known for was quite a hard task.

One day before sending the magazine to press, we came across this fantastic long-exposure night shot taken by JAN JUREČK at his Ostrava Leos Janacek Airport in the Czech Republic. The aircraft is Alitalia’s first Airbus A320 sporting the airline’s new livery, specially painted with its employees’ signatures commemorating the airline’s ‘fresh start.’
