The Hawker Siddeley HS 748 is a vintage turbo-prop airliner that was introduced to replace the venerable Douglas DC-3 in the 1950s. This month, we travel to Canada and fly on one of the last HS 748s in service anywhere in the world. To change our usual outside, dramatic cover shots, we have chosen a more conventional window view of the Hawker’s left wing, showcasing one of the most spectacular views of the Yukon.
