MEXICO CITY — The two leading commercial aviation publications in North America (United States and Mexico) have signed a strategic alliance to develop and distribute premium content that will enhance Airways and EnElAire’s global coverage of the commercial aviation industry.

A little over six years ago, a group of Mexican aviation enthusiasts launched EnElAire.mx, a unique space where constant and up-to-date content is distributed both through a daily podcast and online articles.

Likewise, Airways, in its pursuit to provide better content and reach further destinations, has agreed to team up with this leading Latin American organization—currently ranked as the best in the continent—to share and distribute news where language is a barrier to its audience.

Enrique Perrella, Airways Owner, Publisher & Editor in Chief, said, “This alliance represents the expansion of our borders into territories where the English language is a barrier. We strive to reach more aviation enthusiasts at any latitude in the world with quality content, as we have done since our launch in 1994.”

Perrella, a native Spanish speaker, understands the importance of providing quality content to the Spanish speaking community in the US and Latin America.

“Back in the day, the only sources where I could find information related to commercial aviation were in English. Spanish is one of the world’s most important languages and it’s key that we team up with EnElAire to provide this audience our daily content,” he said.

Jose Suárez, General Director of EnElAire, said, “Our alliance with Airways reflects the commitment and maturity that we have acquired over the last six years, consistent with our plans to reach more Spanish-speaking audiences worldwide with the best and timely content.”

According to Suárez, “The synergy between the two organizations will not only enhance our offering to the Spanish-speaking community, but also allow EnElAire to reach further destinations around the globe, thanks to the established presence of Airways in more than 65 countries.”

Similarly, Jose Antonio Tena, Head of Digital Media and Product at EnElAire notes that one of his most important goals has always been to share the passion for aviation with its audience.

“I think that with every news we publish, our audience gets closer to the clouds,” he said. “We bring information to their screens, in real time, so they are flying at 35,000 feet alongside our team. Through this alliance we can increase the amount of content and expand our frontiers.”

Without a doubt, the benefit of this alliance will strengthen the contents of both media. Thanks to this agreement, articles and news generated by recognized Airways contributors and authors will now be available in Spanish, offering all its experience to the EnElAire audience. Similarly, EnElAire‘s authors will be published in English on the brand-new Airways website.
