MIAMI — Ultra-low-cost carrier Volaris Costa Rica has reinforced its commitment to the connectivity of Central America with the United States by adding more frequencies to both New York and Washington from El Salvador, originally departing from San José, Costa Rica.

“We are committed to strengthening the bonds between the communities of Central Americans living in the United States, and with all our clients that travel to visit their families, travel around the United States and do business across borders, offering the lowest rates in the market,” stated Fernando Naranjo, Volaris Costa Rica General Manager.

“These new frequencies show our interest in uniting family and friends; and promoting tourism and business between El Salvador and the United States. Volaris gives wings to the dreams of the Central Americans,” Naranjo added.

Beginning on October 1, 2018, Volaris Costa Rica will add one additional weekly flight for San Jose-San Salvador-New York (JFK) and two extra weekly flights for San Jose-San Salvador-Washington (IAD).
