MIAMI – While starting services to Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) today June 5, Sky Express (GQ) continues to expand its network by adding new routes between Athens (ATH) and London (LHR), and in the next few days to Dortmund (DTM) and Hamburg (HAM).
The services to France, besides CDG, also include Lyon (LYS), and Nantes (NTE). The flight schedule shows one weekly flight on Saturday to CDG, departing ATH at 12:00 and arriving at 14:40. The return leaves at 15:10 and arrives at ATH at 19:10. Flights are operated by a 186 seater A320neo aircraft.
On this run, GQ will face competition from Air France (AF), Aegean (A3), and the low-cost carrier (LCC) Transavia (TO). All times local.
Service to LYS begins on the same day with a departure scheduled for 07:15 and arrival at 08:55. The flight continues to NTE at 09:45 where it is scheduled to arrive at 10:50. The return section is a non-stop to ATH departing at 11:35 and arriving at 15:55, the flight being operated by A320neo. All times are local.
On destination LYS, GQ has to face A3, TO, and Volotea (V7) while on destination NTE, GQ’s competitors will be A3 and TO.
As the last addition, flights to LHR are set to begin on August 1 with a daily flight, except Saturday, with a scheduled departure at 11:10 and arrival at 13:05. The return flight is set for 14:00 and arrives at ATH at 19:30, both sectors are operated by A320neo. All times are local.
- To LHR GQ will compete with A3, British Airways (BA), both from LHR, EasyJet (U2) from London-Gatwick (LGW), Ryanair (FR) from London-Stansted (STN) and Luton (LTN), and WizzAir from LGW and LTN.
GQ has already started services to Brussels-Zaventem (BRU), Larnaca (LCA), and plans to start flying to DTM and HAM in the next few days. GQ serves over 30 domestic destinations with its fleet of ATR42 and 72.
