LONDON — LATAM Airlines will launch a new flight from its hub in Sao Paulo-Guarulhos Airport (GRU) to Las Vegas-McCarran International Airport (LAS) during Brazil’s peak travel seasons: from June to September, and from December to March.

The airline will operate the new route on a three-times-per-week basis with one of its Boeing 767-300(ER)s, capable of covering the long-haul, +12-hour flight with ease.

LATAM’s Boeing 767s accommodate 191 passengers in Economy and 30 in Premium Business, totaling 221 passengers in total.

For LATAM, it’s one of the lengthiest flights its Boeing 767-300(ER)s will operate. Pending on sales performance, the airline might consider upgrading it to its 787-8/9 or even the Airbus A350-900, which is currently deployed on routes to Miami and Orlando.

New Addition to LATAM’s Network

“LATAM Airlines arrived in Las Vegas achieving a key milestone as the only South American airline connecting passengers directly between Las Vegas and Sao Paulo, bringing the United States and Brazil even closer together,” said Pablo Chiozza, SVP of the United States, Canada, the Caribbean and Asia, LATAM Airlines Group.
