MIAMI – Interjet will add three new nonstop flights to Los Angeles (LAX) from Los Cabos (SJD), Puerto Vallarta (PVR) and El Bajío (BJX) starting on November 23, 2017.

“These new, international flights are important to Interjet as they will complement our ever-expanding network,” said José Luis Garza, Interjet CEO.

Interjet’s new service will be operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft with 150 economy class seats. The carrier’s A320s have 30 less seats than their competitors—one of Interjet’s most attractive passenger experience features.

Interjet’s three-flights-per-week to Los Cabos will be competing with the daily nonstop flights a from Los Angeles already offered by Alaska Airlines, Southwest, American, and Delta. United also flies the route but only three times per week.

Likewise, flights to Puerto Vallarta will be competing with the daily nonstop flights offered by Alaska Airlines, Delta, American, and Southwest.

Lastly, the daily flight to El Bajio will be competing with the daily nonstop flights by United, Aeromexico, and the five-time a week flights offered by Volaris.

Interjet already serves Los Angeles with nonstop flights from three Mexican destinations: Cancun, Mexico City, and Guadalajara.
