MIAMI — Panamanian flag carrier, Copa Airlines, announced the suspension of operations to and from San Juan, Puerto Rico and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, for today, September 20, and tomorrow, September 21, due to Hurricane Maria.

The airline is committed to taking the necessary measures and arrangements to guarantee passengers’ arrival to their final destinations as soon as possible.

Customers with tickets issued through September 18, 2017, and scheduled to travel between September 19 and 26, can make adjustments to their itineraries to travel through October 16, 2017 (without incurring penalties or additional costs) and may also ask for a full restitution of the cost of their tickets if desired. However, they have until September 25 to make changes to their flight schedules and the modifications will be subordinate to the availability of flights.

Furthermore, Copa Airlines encourages passengers to visit CopaAir Flight Status to get the latest updates from their flight operations.
