LONDON – The past two days has seen Frontier Airlines announce six new routes and unveil their 100th city in their network. 

The airline is to add new services to Harlingen from Denver and Chicago as well as international services to Las Vegas from Cancun and Cabos San Lucas in Mexico.

Harlingen is the 100th city in question from Denver. The addition of Harlingen and the other services brings the total domestic destination count to 179 for the carrier. 

On top of that expansion, Frontier is to introduce new services from Chicago O’Hare with services to Palm Springs as well as a new route from Philadelphia to Sarasota. 

The six new routes means that the airline will offer 31 non-stop flights to and from Las Vegas, 19 to and from Chicago, 24 to and from Philadelphia and two to and from Sarasota.

Commenting on the expansion was Barry Biffle, President, and CEO of Frontier Airlines.

“With the addition of this one-hundredth new city to our network and six new routes, we continue to deliver on our mission to make air travel more affordable for America.”

“Frontier allows more people to travel than ever before and we look forward to them having a chance to experience our unique brand of Low Fares Done Right”, he added.

The O’Hare service to Harlingen will depart at 1354 local and arrive in Texas at 1715 local. The return will depart Harlingen at 1805 local and arrive back into ORD at 2119 local on Wednesdays and Saturdays from November 21. 

The O’Hare service to Palm Springs will depart at 0750 local and arrive at 1012 local. The return will depart Palm Springs at 1712 local and arrive back into ORD at 2318 local on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from December 14.

The Denver to Harlingen service will depart at 0615 local and arrive at 1002 local. The return will depart at 1055 local and arrive back into Denver at 1252 local on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Sundays from November 22.

Las Vegas to San Jose Del Cabo will depart at 1209 local and arrive into SJD at 1605 local. The return will depart at 1700 local and arrive back into LAS at 1902 local on Saturdays from December 15.

The LAS to Cancun service will depart Cancun at 1819 local and arrive into LAS for 2020 local. The return will depart LAS at 0956 local the next day and arrive into Cancun at 1724 local on Mondays and Fridays from December 21.

Finally, the Philadelphia to Sarasota rotation will depart at 1652 local and arrive into SRQ at 1945 local. The return will depart at 2043 local and arrive into PHL at 2118 local on Mondays and Fridays from December 10. 

In all, it is another substantial expansion from Frontier for the Winter schedule. With the carrier operating into their 100th city, it appears as if this is the beginning for the carrier.
