LONDON – Dubai-based low-cost carrier, flydubai has today launched a new Home Check-In Service, which is in partnership with DUBZ and dnata.
The service is available to book effectively today (June 11) and is following suit to that of Emirates, who launched the similar service back in April 2018.
Up to six hours before the customer’s flying time, they will be able to check-in at their doorstep as well as hand their bags into the staff at DUBZ from the safety and comfort of their home.
From there, DUBZ will process the bag and check it in and ensure that it gets on the correct flight.
They will pick the bag up 24 hours in advance of the flight, print boarding passes, and baggage tags on the spot as well as provide the delivery to the airport.
The service also extends to those that are just carrying hand baggage. A representative will collect the bag and then hand it to the passenger before boarding the aircraft.
On top of this, flydubai passengers also have the option of getting their bags delivered to their hotel, residence or office upon arrival in Dubai.
“Our partnership with DUBZ and dnata sees another convenient travel benefit for flydubai’s passengers,” said Jeyhun Efendi, Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations.
“Home Check-in is the latest addition to the flydubai offering and it demonstrates our team’s dedication to delivering a customized travel experience available to all our passengers,” he said.
The service will be available to use at Dubai International’s Terminal 2 for all flydubai passengers departing and arriving from the airport.
To celebrate the launch, they will be offering up t0 30% off until June 30. Standard prices will begin at 110AED for the Home Baggage Collection with the belt pick-up starting at 99AED.
