MIAMI – Following some rumors, after the visit of the Czech delegation to Taiwan, a direct flight from Czechia to Taiwan could be just around the corner.
China Airlines (CI), after the transportation of the Czech representatives to Taiwan, confirmed the rumor enhancing the chance to have a direct link between the 2 cities.
A SkyTeam Alliance Partnership
Moreover, a post from Prague Mayor Zdeněk Hřib suggests that the work for the creation of a direct link between Prague and Taiwan is on its final stage.
The development of this route from CI will be in partnership with the flag carrier of Czechia, Czech Airlines (OK). Both airlines are part of the SkyTeam Alliance. In the intent of two airlines, there is as well the development of a scheme of connections to Taiwan from Europe via Prague Ruzyne Airport (PRG).
