MIAMI — Delta Air Lines announced yesterday a new nonstop service to Pittsburgh and New Orleans beginning on October 1st, 2017, and February 10, 2018, respectively.

The carrier will operate the nonstop service to Pittsburgh with twice-daily flights; the seasonal service to New Orleans Louis Armstrong Airport will operate on Saturdays and Sundays.

The new Pittsburgh flights will be operated by a Bombardier CRJ-900 (served by Endeavor Air, Inc.) on the following schedule:

With Pittsburgh and New Orleans, Delta has now announced 10 new markets from Boston in 2017:

  • Tampa twice-daily on February
  • Dublin, Ireland daily on May
  • San Francisco twice daily on June
  • Buffalo, N.Y. three-times-daily on August
  • Austin, Tex. daily on September
  • Kansas City daily on September
  • Jacksonville, Fla. daily on September
  • Norfolk, Va. daily on September

On December 21, 2017, Delta will also expand its Florida services; West Palm Beach flights on weekend and Fort Myers flights to daily, as well as increase Ft. Lauderdale flights to twice daily.

Delta will also expand nonstop service to Caribbean destinations: Montego Bay, Jamaica; Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; and Nassau, Bahamas; beginning December 21, 2017.

With the new routes, Delta and its partners will serve a total of 47 destinations worldwide from Boston, including nonstop international flights to London, Amsterdam, Paris, and Dublin.
