SÃO PAULO — Azul Linhas Aéreas announced today its first flight from Orlando to Recife. This weekly flight will have departures and arrivals on Wednesdays and Sundays, making long weekends at one of the most magical places on Earth, Walt Disney World, or walking around Olinda’s boulevards.

Both Orlando and Recife will act as intermediary points for increased connectivity throughout the United States and Northeastern Brazil. Azul’s connecting flights include Salvador, Fortaleza and São Luís. Customers can also access the rest of the United States with onward connections beyond Orlando with the carrier’s partner airlines in the US.

Antonoaldo Neves, President of Azul Airlines, said that the customer’s needs were at the core to the creation of this route. He describes, “We are the only company to fly this route, with the advantage of offering excellent connectivity for customers that arrive in Recife, and can easily and conveniently get to any capital in Brazil’s Northeast. In addition, our new aircrafts provide outstanding comfort and state of the art technology, which results in one of the best customer experiences in the world.”

This new route will add to the already existing flights between the US and Brazil. During this season, the Brazilian airline will offer 10 flights a week between Fort Lauderdale and São Paulo (Viracopos). In addition, Azul flies daily between Viracopos and Orlando.

Customers have a privileged experience with programs Azul Business, Economy Xtra and Economy, onboard the Airbus A330. This aircraft is equipped with the latest technology and comfort, providing an outstanding inflight experience between Brazil and US.
