MIAMI – Air Serbia (JU) is adding new Russian destinations to its network, flying to Rostow (ROV), Krasnodar (KRR), and St. Petersburg (LED).

The new flight progam is set up to satisfy interest shown on both sides by Serbian and Russian travelers and will offer a total of four destinations within the Russan Federation. The schedule shows two weekly flights from Belgrade (BEG) to ROV, KRR, and LED, starting in June, while services to Moscow (SVO) wil increase fro six to seven weekly effective May 2021.

Jiri Marek, JU General Manager, Commercial and Strategy, commented the new services byn saying “We continue to react quickly to all changes in the travel restrictions in order to make use of every opportunity that arises. The Russian Federation represents a strategically extremely important market for us, and we are very glad that we will soon be able to operate flights to as many as four destinations in this great country.

He also added: We are especially proud of the fact that, after Oslo and Geneva, we will be launching flights to Rostov-on-Don, as the third completely new destination in our network since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, and the second one this year.

The introduction of these direct flights will allow good connections to Athens (ATH), Bucharest (OTP), Istanbul (IST), Larnaca (LCA), London (LHR), Ljubljana (LJU), Tivat (TIV), Paris (CDG), Podgorica (TGD), Prague (PRG), Sarajevo (SJJ), Skopje (SKP), Thessaloniki (SKG), Tirana (TIA), and Zurich (ZRH).
