Xiamen Airlines Celebrates Its 40th Anniversary

DALLAS — Xiamen Airlines (MF) celebrated its 40th anniversary in Xiamen, China, yesterday, July 25, 2024. The event reflected on the airline's history and outlined future plans.

Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the employees, which Chairman Zhao Dong described as both an honor and a responsibility.

The ceremony included the presentation of "Xiamen Airlines Pioneers in Entrepreneurship" awards and the signing of an agreement on reform.

Additionally, the carrier launched a publicity campaign on Kulangsu Island, releasing a corporate anthem and its first CSR white paper.

Looking ahead, the airline plans to adhere to President Xi's visions, uphold its founding values, and contribute to economic development, cross-Strait relations, and China's aviation industry.
