Turkish Airlines Launches Turin Flights

DALLAS – Turkish Airlines (TK) has launched daily flights between Istanbul (IST) and Turin (TRN) on July 10. Flights to TRN are expected to strengthen the airline’s presence in Italy. 

Turin becomes TK’s ninth destination in Italy and its 349th global destination. The daily flights will operate as follows: 

Istanbul to Turin

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday: 7.15 AM - 9.20 AM

Wednesday, Friday and Sunday: 5.00 PM - 7.05 PM

Turin to Istanbul

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday: 10.15 AM - 2.10 PM

Wednesday, Friday and Sunday: 8.00 PM – 11.55 PM

Focus on Boosting Tourism  

This new route is aimed to facilitate travel between TRN and IST, which is one of the world’s most attractive tourism and business destinations. Furthermore, it offers extensive connections through TK’s global network across six continents.

Elisabetta Oliveri, Chairman of Torino Airport, expressed her satisfaction, stating, "We celebrate with great satisfaction the start of this flight, which opens up new growth prospects for Turin Airport, after two consecutive years in which a traffic record was set. The Turin-İstanbul connection also represents a further driver of development for the entire economy of the area and reconfirms the airport's role as a strategic player in growth.”

The officials stated that nestled among the stunning Alps, Turin (TRN), the capital of Piedmont in northern Italy, is famous for its rich historical legacy, baroque architecture, and prominence in the automotive industry. The city boasts numerous cultural landmarks and is also known for its exquisite cuisine and dynamic arts scene.
